Below are instructions that can be provided to your end-user customer
to assist them in registering a product via the product
registration software developed by Leader Technologies,
Inc. The registration application is typically launched
or run during the installation of a manufacturer's product
and is presented to the end-user as an interactive form
on their desktop. Below are some simple instructions for
using the application that may be useful to include with
the materials that ship with your products.
Registering Via The PowerREGISTER Product Registration Application
- During product installation, a separate application will appear asking you to enter some specific demographic information such as your date of birth, name, address, country, e-mail address and market information.
- If you are under the age of 13, you will NOT be allowed to register using this registration application. You will need to have a parent or guardian complete the registration form. Or there may be a Parental Consent button where you can print out a Parental Consent form that can be mailed in.
- There may be a 'Register Online' button that you can click and a web browser will be launched to connect you to the online registration site.
- If the option to register online is not present, click the 'Register' button you will be moved through a set of screens where you can provide your specific information.
- All fields with an asterisk or otherwise marked with a special font color or style are required and must be completed in order to register your product.
- On the final screen of the registration application, you will see a variety of choices for submitting your information.
- If you are connected to the Internet, select the Internet method.
- If you are not Internet enabled or if you cannot connect to the Internet at this time, you may select 'E-mail' which will allow you to register your product via your e-mail program the next time you send e-mails.
- Or you may select 'Modem' which will allow you to register via your computer's modem. The modem registration is via a toll free 800 number in the United States and Canada and via a direct dial number outside of the United States and Canada.
- If there is a Fax and/or Mail option, select one of these options for a print out of your registration information that can be faxed or mailed to complete the registration of your product.
